Christmas Done! Cold!

A belated Merry Christmas.

Well my Christmas was good but interesting, I have 2 children who both have chicken pox a Wife who has "manflu" as do I, to combat feeling ill and having a nice lack of sleep we have eaten our body weight (in my case that's a lot) in crap food and drank quite a bit of alcohol.

I stepped on the scales today for the first time in about 6 months, oh dear is all I can say I'm a big guy anyway but when I last stood on the scales I was in at 109kg today I am at 112kg. Time to get back on track with this training lark.

Today was my first sesh since 18th December due to holiday and Christmas.

Jumped on the treadmill and carried on with the light jog/walk (jog 9.5kmph walk 6.0kmph).

38.16 = 4.56km
Av hr = 147 (79% of max)
Max hr = 185 (100% of max)
Cals = 512

Back to the world of training

Well, here we go again.

Fat bloke puts on some shorts and heads to the gym, yesterdays (Thursday) plan was to spend a little time blasting my shoulders (I like my shoulders they look good), I had a quick view of Dean Ash's shoulder blast (lovingly saved on Sky+) to remind me what I should be doing, for a change I hit the gym and did everything on the list, probably not a good idea as I am feeling it today :(.

But to hell with that I enjoyed it at the time and it reminded me that I have to put in a few more hours each week now to get me up and running for March 6th at Silverstone.

Thursdays workout:

Seated Rope Pull (10kg)
Upright Row (15kg)
