This training stuff is hard to fit in.....

Been a while since I turned the puta on let alone sat down to write anything such is the hectic world of work life balancing.

So I am greeted with over 200 emails! And the realisation that my training has pretty much gone to pot, the only day I could have trained this week was Friday and instead of getting up bright and early I slept through my alarm and stayed in bed until 9, bear in mind I'm usually done at the gym by that time.

So my goals for this week, gym early doors on Monday hopefully do a little run - bike - run. Then the same again on Tuesday but probably just run and a small weights sesh, Wednesday I start work early and finish late, Thursday I'll probably take my shiny new toy out for a 10 mile spin to see I get on with it, Friday is the same as Wednesday so no training :(, Saturday I might get to the gym for a little bit or go for a long run along the river, we'll have to wait and see.

In my bid to drop some weight I started with the good old Weight Watchers plan this week, it's amazing how much you end up scrutinising what and how much of it you actually eat during a day, I get to use 49 Pro Points each day and so far I have come in under each day, wouldn't have happened if I wasn't doing this I'd probably eat double the food my Pro Points allow in biscuits alone :)

Slendertone program is also going well and although (as a fatty) I still cant see my abs I can certainly feel a difference in them, I also started the 100 Push-Up program this week, I started on Friday and did an initial pathetic 11 in a row for the initial test! The program then went through the motions, ending up doing a total of 45 with rests in between a set number of push-ups, I'll keep updating on here.

On 3rd March this year I will again be taking part in Vertical Rush at Tower 42 in aid of Shelter, I nee to raise a minimum of £150.00 for them, last year I completed the run UP the 920 steps to the top of the tower in 10:30 this year I hope to be on or under 8 minutes, please help me to raise lots of money for this great cause any donation large or small is great if you want to please click here

Last but not least, congratulations to every one who took part in Janathon this year and especially those who managed to keep up and jog, log and blog every single day, well done to all of you, remember though it's just the start, don't let the end of Janathon be the end of your running.
